Exciting new greenfields discoveries

Goldminex is well funded to follow up its recent discoveries of high-grade gold, copper and sulphide nickel mineralisation in an emerging new mineral province. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated team of geologists to lead this venture.

This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a small, motivated Company with excellent assets and enormous growth potential. We are committed to fostering high levels of personal autonomy within a supportive team environment.The Company is looking to employee PNG nationals however will consider expatriates demonstrating specific experience suitable to the vacant positions.

This extensive project area is located 160km east of Port Moresby in moderate terrain in a culturally friendly environment with supportive local landowners. Site access from Port Moresby is 1 hour by air.

Exploration will focus on both detailed evaluation and drilling of prospects identified to date and a wide-ranging regional exploration programme.

To date we have conducted our exploration activities through an outstanding team of PNG National geologists and field assistants. This core team is being expanded considerably to cover the increased tenement position and follow up recent discoveries. As a result, the increased work schedule will require a hands-on team of senior geologists to lead and manage the field operations. Goldminex seeks to recruit the following personnel:

Position	Responsibilities
Senior Geologists	Undertake evaluation of already identified prospects and complete reconnaissance exploration, coordinate drill programmes.
Field Geologists	Undertake field programmes of geological mapping, supervise sampling, daily responsibility for exploration activities leading up to drilling, log drill core and provide interpretation.
GIS Data Base Manager	A responsible GIS geologist able to compile and maintain the company GIS and sample data.  This role will be based in our Keuka Camp and will be a rostered postion.   Experience with MapInfo is essential.  A good ability of spoken and written English is also important. The applicant should be well-presented and have very good organisational skills.  +3 years experience preferred.

Our objective is to conduct an intensive, cost effective and results driven exploration program. All positions will be on a fly-in fly-out basis, from Port Moresby or East Coast, Australia.  Competitive remuneration will be offered with appropriate incentives tied to exploration success.
